We first met our Russian client a few months ago at an international trade show. The venue was loud, crowded, and full of flashing lights—exactly the kind of place where most conversations last only a few minutes. But this one lingered. We talked about stage projects, market trends, and the reality behind using lighting equipment in real shows. Before we knew it, time had flown by. We exchanged contacts, shook hands, and promised to stay in touch.
After the show, life moved fast. Messages were exchanged now and then, but nothing consistent. Like many trade show connections, it quietly drifted into the background—until we planned a business trip to Russia. On a whim, we reached out again. This time, the reply came quickly, and soon we found ourselves standing outside their office, ready to finally meet in person.
The moment the door opened, any sense of formality disappeared. Instead of a stiff meeting room atmosphere, we were welcomed with smiles, coffee, and genuine curiosity. The conversation flowed naturally—from past projects and technical challenges to funny stories from different shows. It felt less like a sales visit and more like two teams of lighting people speaking the same language.
We had brought our 19×40W moving head wash lights with us, and soon it was time to turn words into action. As the lights powered on, the room changed instantly. The brightness was bold, the RGBW colors clean and rich. The client compared it directly with international brands they already knew—and nodded in approval, especially when we talked about pricing.
Then came the real test. Their engineer wanted details, not promises. So we got to work. Together, we tested brightness at 2, 5, and 7 meters, checked X and Y-axis rotation speeds, and recorded precise data for every setting. Our engineers explained each result clearly, adjusting parameters along the way. Nothing was rushed, and nothing was hidden.
That attention to detail made all the difference. After several rounds of fine-tuning, the lights performed exactly as they wanted. More importantly, trust was built. What started as a chance meeting in a noisy exhibition hall turned into a partnership—and even a friendship. For us, this is what stage lighting is really about: not just fixtures and specs, but people, collaboration, and solutions that truly work in the real world.
